After another early start (although we actually missed the YHA bus and had to get a cab!), we got on the Greyhound to Airlie Beach. The coach took almost 8 hours, which passed rather uneventfully.
On arrival at Airlie Beach late this afternoon, we were impressed with the beauty of the place! It is super sunny and super hot too! The hostel is ok and we are in a room with 5 other girls (one of them was someone Nikki and Jana met further down the coast!).
We checked in for our boat trip, which we go on tomorrow - it's a tall ship and looks like something that pirates would sail on! We're quite excited! Then Nikki and I went for a browse around the shops, there are lots! We then returned to the hostel and the three of us got ready to go out for dinner and a drink, which brings me round to now - a stop off at Maccas on the way to Maccas (all hail free wifi once again!) before hitting the hay.
Oh, and I doubt I will be able to get online for a few days, so will probably go a bit quiet until I get back.
